Most of the images that go into making our weekly banners come from the awesome photo-sharing site flickr.com, which now hosts somewhere over 3.6 Billion photos. It's quite a resource and an endless source of beauty and fascination.
In accordance with Flickr guidelines, we always include a link back to the source page of the image, or the main image if it's a composite of several. If you haven't tried it, the link is found along the bottom left hand edge of the banner, just below the descriptive text.
Recently Flickr introduced a new feature: Galleries. These allow any Flickr user to group up to 18 photos from other Flickr photographers together in a special set with its own web address. Since I often find a dozen or more worthy images and only use one or two for the banner, it makes sense to provide a gallery of images along with the banner for each show. Here's a direct link to our Galleries page where you can select any of them:

As usual, we embed the link directly in the lower left edge of the banner each week. But now instead of one photo, you get a whole gallery to look at while you're listening to the show.
Thanks, Flickr.
For some reason, I can't get Hearts of Space though I am a subscriber. Google Chrome said they can't hook me up to HOS. Therefore, I cannot get any archive or this week's new program.
