SO POWERFUL is this gentleman's music, that his name on a film soundtrack has marquee value equal to the director or the actors;
SO INFLUENTIAL is his sound that an entire generation of film and television composers have been affected by his style;
SO POPULAR is his music that his records leap musical boundaries and find their way into the collections of thousands of listeners to all categories of music;
SO EXTENSIVE is his talent, that after almost 30 years, he continues to fascinate record buyers, making both enormously commercial and deeply personal albums.

(This was in my email to my Space Friends at HoS a moment ago. I don't know why I am not leaving more Comments, but that's the way it is sometimes.)
I am listening to your Vangelis Program (#432, all the way back to 1996), and in that first hour's time, his music is so easy to listen to, and bringing back memories of other Vangelis music on HoS programs (weekly or Channels; I have a Channels Subsc), it was over so soon I was surprised it was!
