You know it's March when the Celtic music starts to flow again. This week we attempt to sooth the savage spring here on the storm-blown Western coast, with a show focused on a group of fine female singers from Ireland.
We have three ethereal gems from the latest release by ENYA. We've also mined the PBS Celtic Woman project (see PGM 748) for singers and plundered their respective solo albums for material by MAIREAD, ORLA and MEAV, plus the extraordinary Capercaillie vocalist KAREN MATHESON. And we've put it all together with several luscious Celtic harp pieces by AINE MINOGUE.
Hello Beautiful Music People @ HOS...I think I clicked in all the right places, but to no avail. The message: "Player Error: 1072885353: Windows Media Player cannot play the file." Truly my Mercury has gone retrograde. Any ideas why I can't hear this week's program of lovely Irish tunes? Thank you for the program and for the help, Kristin
